Indoor climate
A healthy indoor climate is good for everybody. And if you suffer from allergies or asthma the indoor climate is particularly important to your well-being, regardless of whether your allergies are caused by dust mites, animal hair or any other type of hypersensitivity.
To a great extent, having a healthy indoor climate has to do with common sense. This is why one of our best pieces of advice, which is also really easy to follow, is to create a draught every day in your house or apartment. Airing out all rooms brings the air humidity down quickly making it difficult for mold fungi and dust mites to subsist. Mold fungi thrive in humid organic materials in the house such as wooden window frames, and dust mites prefer conditions with high relative humidity. Dust mites subsist on our skin cells and prefer to live in our beds.
Creating a healthy indoor climate is very easy: Air out three times a day; clean thoroughly once a week in all rooms, and always use mild cleaning agents without perfume or coloring.
