Who can develop allergies?

We tend to be predisposed to develop allergies or hypersensitivity. According to statistics, the risk of developing allergies is greater if our parents and siblings currently have or have previously been diagnosed with an allergic disease (hay fever, allergy, etc.) If neither our parents nor our siblings suffer from allergies, our risk of developing allergy is 5-10%. Yet many people develop allergies because of their daily exposure to fragrances in lotions, a poor indoor climate, pollution, etc., which break down the skin's own immune system. One of the most important functions of our skin is to protect us from external influences. This is why it is important that you take care of your skin, just like it takes care of you.
