LAUNDRY TIPS

1

Wash new clothes before you wear them for the first time. When you wash your clothes before wearing them your skin will not be bothered by any residual coloring or any other residues from any post-production treatment. This also goes for light-colored textiles.

2

Use the correct dosage when you do the laundry. Use neither too much nor too little. If you use too much soap residue may build up in the clothes and if you use too little your clothes will not get clean. Correct dosage depends on the water hardness level – read more here. 3

Modern washing machines use very little water. If you have very sensitive skin you should use the extra rinse option (most machines are equipped with this function). This way you can be sure that any soap residue has been rinsed from the clothes. When washing at low temperatures you may want to use a liquid detergent.

4

Using a dryer to dry your clothes removes all the loose fibers that may bother your skin. You can get the same result by drying your clothes outside on a windy day. If you or someone in you family are allergic to pollen you should avoid drying your clothes outside during the pollen season.
